Shirley Mae (Lewis) Carlson, age 87, of Norwell, passed away surrounded by family on July 8, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Frank W. Carlson. Loving mother of Jeffrey K. Carlson, Ann Marie Griffith and husband Warren, the late James L. Carlson, Frank W. Carlson Jr and wife Sandra, Karen Cooper, and Sharon Cole. Sister of the late Jewel Uczen, Kaye Gruber, Mattie Klopectic, Marie Gagliano. Cherished grandmother of Leila Frangieh and husband Robert, Heather McCarthy, Joseph J. Schnabel, and Brian V. Schnabel.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 3-7 pm followed by a Memorial Service held at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Shirley may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
