Stellina Marie "Tilly" (DeVito) Nardo, age 85, a lifelong resident of Cohasset, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 23, 2012 at South Shore Hospital. Tilly was a graduate of the Perry Normal School and enjoyed volunteering at South Shore Hospital and with the Cohasset Senior Citizens. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony Church, where she also volunteered as a greeter. Alongside her husband, Tilly was the proprietor of the general store, Jimmy's West Corner Spa in Hingham.

Tilly was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Nardo, Sr. and the devoted and loving mother of Vincent Nardo, Jr. of Hull, Frederick Nardo of Thayngen, Switzerland, Janice Batts of Cohasset, and Richard Nardo of Uberlingen, Germany. She was the adoring grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Tilly was the sister of Felicia Cattuti of Peekskill, NY, Nicholas DeVito of Amarillo, TX, and the late Vincent DeVito of Portland, Maine. She is also survived by many close nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Sunday, April 29 from 2-6 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. If desired, donations in Tilly's memory may be made to the Cohasset Food Pantry, c/o St. Anthony Church, 129 So. Main St., Cohasset, MA. 02025 or to the Cohasset Senior Center, 3 North Main St., Cohasset, MA 02025.
