Steve grew up in Jamaica Plain and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps right out of high school. After the war Steve earned degrees from the Stockbridge School at Umass Amherst, Suffolk University and Boston University. He transitioned to a long career as a high school science teacher. Steve impacted so many students over many decades at both Christopher Columbus High School in Boston, and at Cohasset High School in Cohasset, MA.
