Stephen "Stevie" Michael Adams of Norwell MA passed away April 29th, 2023 in his home.

Son of the late Capt. Frederick "Fritz" Henry Adams and Eileen Louise Ganley-Adams, he was born in Weymouth MA and was a life-long Norwellian.

Brother of his two late sisters Judith Adams Dom and Linda A. Perna of Ft. Myers FL. He is survived by his sister Denise "Necy" Dwelley of Conway MA.

Father of Jeffrey James Adams, husband to Melinda, and Jill Armstrong, wife of Paul, by his late first wife Beverly "Sunny" Claire Adams and also to Stephen Michael Adams Jr, husband to Meredith, and Preston Frederick Adams by his second wife Denise Dube Adams.

Grandfather of Justin, Rebecca, Victoria, PJ, Whitney, Nathan and great-grandfather to Wesley, Bodi, Piper, Remy, Sunshine, Rook and more on the way.

Stevie was the owner of his own septic and excavation business for 51 years, or as he would affectionately refer to his career, a dirt merchant. Through both his personal and professional endeavors, Stevie was a prominent figure within Norwell and throughout the South Shore. He was a notorious storyteller, jokester, and charismatic personality wherever he went. He was a man of many hobbies and skills, whose curiosity and sense of wonder for the world around him was both limitless and unabashed. His presence would light up rooms, cause uproarious laughter, and create smiles and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
