Steven B. Christensen, age 62, of Norwell, May 8, 2011. Beloved husband of Janice A. Thomsen and devoted father of Erica M. Connolly and husband, Bill of Norwell, Kevin M. Christensen and wife, Amy of Weymouth. Loving grandfather of Jason, Shannon, and Dillon Connolly, and Alissa and Samantha Christensen.

Mr. Christensen was born in Waterloo, Iowa and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He lived in Norwell since 2001. He was a graduate of Univ. of Rhode Island. He worked for Elmwood Sensors as an industrial engineer in East Providence, RI., as well as for AOL. Steven was also a US Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam.

Visiting hours

Visiting hours Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2-5 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, followed by a funeral service at 5 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stevens memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc.,20 Speen St., Framingham, MA.
