Susan Neer Weisenfluh, age 81, of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on October 2, 2025, with her family and beloved dog, Cooper, at her side.

Susan "Susie" was born on May 24, 1944, in Boston, to Shirley and Frank Neer of Cohasset. She attended Beaver Country Day and Briar Cliff College in New York. She was a dedicated wife to the late F. Allen Weisenfluh and a beloved grandmother and great grandmother. Susie worked at Harvard University for most of her professional career. She will be remembered for her blonde hair, infectious laugh, and the twinkle in her eyes.

She was a member of the Vincent Club in Boston, St. Andrews Club of Delray Beach, Florida, the Cohasset Garden Club, Cohasset Yacht Club and Cohasset Golf Club. She was also a Trustee at the South Shore Playhouse in Cohasset. Susie was passionate about human rights and animal welfare and loved spending time with her family and dog at her home in Scituate.

Susie is survived by her sister, Betsy Neer, brother, Frank Neer, sister-in-law, Judy Neer, niece, Jenna Neer, brother-in-law, Al Manzello, stepchildren, Pamela Lessard, Kurt Weisenfluh and Bart Weisenfluh, her step-grandchildren, Taylor, Curtis, Matt, Owen, Kurt Jr., Finn, Zoe and Rowan and great-grandchildren, Kellen Lessard and Blayne Lessard.

A memorial service will be held at the Second Congregational Church in Cohasset on October 27, 2025, at 11 AM.  A reception immediately following at the Cohasset Yacht Club.  Burial will be private. Her kind soul, loving heart and incredible smile will forever remain in our memories.
