Sutton Gunnar Wakefield, age 22, of Cohasset and Malibu, CA, passed unexpectedly on June 10, 2014. Sutton was the beloved son of Diane Wilson of Cohasset and Scott Wakefield of Malibu, CA. He was devoted to his brothers, Scott, Schuyler, Spencer, and Sawyer Wakefield, and adored his sister, Sydney Wakefield, all of Cohasset. Sutton was the grandson of Janet and Scott Wakefield of Norwell, Joanne Wakefield of Duxbury, and the late Virgil and Annie Wilson of Oregon. He leaves his aunts and uncles, Pamela and Phil Mason, Kim and Greg Prebish, Kelsey Wood, Don Wilson and Steven Wilson, as well as many close friends.

Born in Newport, CA., Sutton attended Cohasset High School and Malibu High School. His talents stretched from backyard mechanic, motocross, music and comedy to fishing and football. He loved the outdoors and was always prepared to be adventurous. His greatest love and devotion was to his family and friends. Sutton was planning to attend Dade College in Miami, FL this fall.

A Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1 pm in the Second Congregational Church, 43 Highland Ave., Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Cohasset. Visiting hours omitted.
