Thomas L. Gotter, Age 73, of Scituate, October 3, 2017.  Beloved husband of the late Brenda (Curran) Gotter.  Survived by children Stephen, Shannon and Kristen; and grandchildren Madeline, Nicholas and Sean. Son of the late Harvey and Ruth Gotter, brother of Marjorie Smith, John, William and Polly Gotter all of Oregon, and Charles Gotter of Utah.  Tom served his country in the US Air Force. He was a retired Scituate firefighter, outstanding provider and caregiver to family, and always willing to lend a hand to a friend or even stranger in need.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 7th, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor.  Should friends desire to make contributions in memory of Tom's giving nature, suggestions are Alzheimer's Association (309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452), Holly Hill Farm (236 Jerusalem Road, Cohasset, MA 02025), St. Mary of the Nativity Church (1 Kent Street, Scituate, MA 02066) or any charity held dear to their hearts.
