Thomas R. Slavin, age 33, of Norwell, passed away on April 25, 2015.  He was the adoring father of Nicholas R. Slavin. Tom was the beloved son of Thomas V. and Loretta J. (Milani) Slavin of Norwell and the loving brother of Danielle M. Slavin also of Norwell. He was the beloved grandson of Adele M. Milani and the late Ernest J. Milani of Norwell and Robert F. Slavin and the late Mary E. Slavin of Brewster. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and mother of Nicholas,  his girlfriend Amanda Holthaus and her children, Sara, Chloe, and Matthew.

Tommy was a graduate of Norwell High School, Class of 1999 and Salve Regina University, Class of 2003. Tom was an avid hockey, soccer, baseball, and lacrosse athlete. Excelling in soccer, he played throughout his college career, making the NCAA All Star Team his senior year.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10 am in St. Helen Church, Rt 53, Norwell. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. Interment Private. Donations to honor Tommy may be made to the Nicholas R. Slavin Fund c/o South Shore Bank, 400 Washington Street, Norwell, Ma. 02061.
