Valerie Leigh Brown, 46, of Cohasset, died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 21, 2016 in Bavaria, Germany. Born on March 13, 1970, Valerie is the daughter and second child of John Harald Brown and the late Mary Ann Cluley. Her late step-father Donald Danntine was a significant figure in her life. She was the deeply beloved wife of Marc Waegemann, mother to Kristina K. Waegemann, sister to Marie Koy and Melissa Kaufman, Ann Brown and Mary Brown. She very much loved her Aunt Barbara and Uncle John Leone, as well as extensive family in Delaware.

A 2004 graduate of University of Massachusetts School of Law, Valerie had used her experience directing human services organizations, along with her strong social awareness, and thirst for knowledge to craft her own career path which she enjoyed working in corporate law.

Valerie lit up a room from the very second she walked in; her endearing smile and gentle charm made everyone feel like the most important person in the world. Her enthusiastic spirit was contagious. She was active, a lover of all creatures great and small, and very much looked forward to being around her closest friends and family.

Her humor, wit, beauty and intelligence was unmatched and will be deeply missed. May Valerie rest peacefully, with all the love and support she poured out for those she loved around her, wishing only the best.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016  from 3-5 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 130 Central Street (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA. . Burial will be private. .
