Virginia I. (Protulis) Spano

Virginia Spano passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 after a long battle with illness. Up until the end Ginny maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation for beauty, and her love for her family and friends.

Ginny's life was surrounded by the five "F" words: Family, Friends, Flowers, Food and Fun. During her 81 years here with us she has experienced an abundance of each one.

After receiving her associates degree in radiology (X-RAY) at Northeastern University she then went on to train and work at Boston City Hospital, where she met her husband Patrick. Later she went on to work at Grover Manor Hospital in Revere, MA. Eventually she moved onto Bridgewater Medical Center where she worked for a number of years and ended her career there.

Ginny is survived by her husband Patrick of 60 years, son James, daughter Holly, son in law Martin, granddaughters Sabrina, Francesca, Rebecca and Jessica, Sister Karen Croteau, Brother William Protulis, sister-in-law Deborah, Brother Robert Protulis, sister-in-law Janet, and several nieces and nephews

A Mass will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 11am at St. Anthony's Church in Cohasset, MA with a celebration of life right after. Interment Private.
