Walter J Pendergast Jr, 80, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024 in Braintree, Massachusetts. Walter was born on June 22, 1943 in Quincy, Massachusetts, the son of the late, Walter J Pendergast Sr and Priscilla Harris Pendergast. He will be loved and missed by his surviving family members, sisters Cheryl Guske of Louisville, Kentucky, Susan Porter of El Segundo, California, and Karen Lowe and her husband Mitch of Marietta, Georgia along with his 2 brothers, Robert and wife Denise of West Newbury, Ma., Mark and wife Kristan of Norwell, Ma. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Walter graduated from Bentley College, the last graduating class of the Boston campus in 1965. He later earned his accreditation as a CPA and worked both in the public and private accounting sector during his professional career.

Walter, above all, was a dedicated brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He loved his ice cream; his TV game shows from all eras', a good classic western and the monthly bowling trip with the "fellas." He had a great sense of humor and loved being the brunt of all jokes. He also held the title of Family Historian, for the Pendergast's and Harris's, able to provide everyone with all the relative information. He will be missed. Funeral services will be private.
