Walter Gordon Ross, age 80, of Cohasset, passed away at home on October 8, 2016. Beloved father of Anita G. Urquhart and husband Greg of Pembroke, Eric Weld of Norwell, Robert Ross and wife Anita of Cohasset, and the late William Ross. Brother of Ruth Ross of Weymouth and the late Janet Stone. Grandfather of H. James Litchfield of Cohasset, Amylee Fraser of Manomet and Victoria N. Ross of Cohasset. Great-grandfather of Aubrey Litchfield.

Mr. Ross was a veteran of the US Army. A graduate of Cohasset High, Mr. Ross also graduated from Northeastern Univ. and worked as an Engineer for DS Kennedy in Cohasset, Ainslie Corp. in Braintree, RF Systems in Cohasset, and Seavey Engineering in Pembroke.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset.  Interment Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
