Wendy Thayer, of Cohasset, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2019. Beloved daughter of Frederick A. Thayer, Jr. and the late Maureen Thayer of Cohasset. Wendy was predeceased by her sister Sally and is survived by her three siblings Linda Thayer of Burlington, Geoffrey Thayer of Nantucket and Cohasset, and Diane Nealy of Burlington, VT. Wendy graduated from the University of Massachusetts and the Northeastern University School of Law. Wendy practiced law with an office in Hingham, specializing in real estate. She was a devoted aunt to her 14 loving nieces and nephews. Wendy was known for her fashion sense, generosity, humor, intellect and aptitude for and pleasure in giving the perfect gift. She was a great cook, an avid reader and loved spending time traveling and at the beach. A private family service will be held in the spring.
