William S. Signorelli, age 93, a lifelong resident of Cohasset passed away peacefully on Sept. 6, 2023. Beloved husband of 69 years to the late Nancy Hanna (Looney) Signorelli. Devoted father of Bill Signorelli Jr. and wife Shelley of Scituate, Margaret Tufts and husband Dr. Barry Tufts of Duxbury. Adored grandfather of Kelly Tufts, Barry Tufts Jr and wife Julie, Ryan Tufts and wife Erin, Brian Signorelli and wife Leah, Kevin Signorelli and wife Sara, Michael Signorelli and wife Vida. Great-grandfather of 11: Haley, Emma, Logan, Chloe, Maddison, Barry III "Remy", Hannah, Riley, Jackson, Leuca, and Rebekah. Brother of the late Mary Green, Theresa Signorelli, Vito Signorelli, Ann Percy, Barbara Gunville, and Katherine Igo. Bill is survived by his brother in law Jerry Looney and wife Frances of Ireland, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Born and raised in Cohasset, Bill was a graduate of Cohasset High School and Bentley College. He served diligently and proudly in the US Army during the Korean War, where he earned three Bronze Service Stars. Bill owned Signorelli's Restaurant from 1956 – 1975. He later worked for many years as the Cohasset Town Accountant until his retirement. Bill was a member of Hatherly Country Club, where his claim to fame was a hole in one on the 18th hole, for which he is still paying for drinks. He was a true gentleman, devoted to his wife and family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Friday, Sept. 15, 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment with Military honors in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Bill may be made to the Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull Street, Hingham, MA. 02043 or to the George H.
