William Hayden Wilcox, age 90, of Scituate, died peacefully on April 1, 2012. Mr. Wilcox's career was spent in the insurance business, including as a vice president of Commercial Union Insurance. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea, serving in the US Army.

Bill's beloved wife Mary Frances (Lowney) Wilcox preceded him in death. He is survived by a son William Hayden Wilcox, Jr. and his wife Diane Patton Michelfelder of St. Paul MN, by brother-in-law Thomas Madden Donnelly of  Concord, NC, and by Mary's loving family.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11 am in Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
