Amy Cesal Banks died peacefully Thursday June 22nd, 2023 on the South Shore of Massachusetts. She was 78. She was a public school educator in Illinois, Western New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Over the last 20 years she steered the family business Midland Machinery Co., introducing lean manufacturing, increasing productivity, profits and reducing waste. She loved supporting her children’s career dreams, cooking, beach days, gardening, holidays and skiing with her family. Amy was an alumna of Bradley University and a Pi Beta Phi sorority sister. She attained graduate degrees at Canisius and Lesley College. She will be most remembered as cherishing learning, hard work, and as the loving mother, grandmother and companion to her husband of nearly 54 years.
