Angeline Ann (Polito) Luker

Angeline “Ann” (Polito) Luker, of Cohasset passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday April 14, 2022 at the age of 95. A lifelong resident of Cohasset, she was daughter to William Polito and Lucia (Cuoco) Polito. Sister of Antoinette Sperling of Colorado and the late Samuel, Joseph, James, Frank, Bill, Camilla, Theresa, Barbara and Marie. 

Ann was pre-deceased by her loving husband Russell Luker Sr. and her loving son Russell Luker Jr. She is survived by her devoted grand-daughter Kim (Luker) Earls and her husband Jason Earls of Cohasset; the two loves of her life- her great-grandchildren, Evan and Sophia; her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Cox of Ashland, NH and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Ann was a homemaker, who spent her life caring for her family. She loved animals, especially her dog Ruby. In her later days, when she liked being at home most, she cherished the friendships she made through Cohasset’s elderly services. She enjoyed recounting stories of her family’s history to be passed down and she was an avid watcher of wrestling never missing an episode if she could help it. Her sense of humor and feisty Italian attitude will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Ann will be celebrated with a graveside service on Thursday April 21, 2022 at 11:00 at Woodside Cemetery where family and friends are welcome to join, followed by a subsequent private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, to celebrate one on the things Ann loved most, donations can be made in her name to Scituate Animal Shelter, Scituate, MA.
