Arthur "Artie" G. Lennerton

Arthur “Artie” Lennerton passed away September 9, 2023 very unexpectedly at South Shore Hospital with family by his side.

He was born in Cambridge MA on November 4, 1964 to the late Robert and Maureen (Keefe) Lennerton.

Raised in Norwell, he graduated from Norwell High School class of 1983.  He also attended South Shore VoTech in the automotive department.

On July 22, 2006 he married the love of his life.  Artie and Kathy raised their family in Norwell.  Artie was employed by RUSSELECTRIC for 35 years where he was a maintenance supervisor.

Artie loved his family and friends, always making a joke and keeping things light.  He enjoyed camping, Sandy Neck beach, grilling with his buddies, being at his kids activities, Patriot’s games, concerts, his love of cars.  The special time he spent with Bentley, becoming a Papa was one of the best days of his life.  The special bond they shared.

In addition to his loving wife Kathy, he is survived by his daughter Allyson and future son-in-law Robert McLaughlin of E. Bridgewater; a daughter Samantha of Norwell; a brother Bob of Norwell. A grandson Bentley Lennerton of E. Bridgewater who was the apple of Papa’s eye. Along with aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many dear friends that were extended family. 

He was predeceased by his father Robert in 2000, his mother Maureen in 2012, his sister Anne in 1992, and his sister Kathy in 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart, Hanover St., Hanover, MA. 02339.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Arthur’s name to South Shore VoTech 476 Webster St Hanover MA 02339.
