Austin H. "Bud" Curtin, age 87, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Linda E. (Goodwin) Curtin. Bud is the beloved brother of James Curtin and wife Patricia of Norwell and the late Lawrence Curtin and the late Christine O'Connell. He is the brother in law of Anne Moller of Halifax, and the late Robert Moller, Sylvia Harvey, and and the late Norman L. Harvey. Bud was the devoted uncle of Austin Curtin and wife Laura, his godson William Curtin and wife Michelle, Mark Moller, Melinda Curran Hall and husband Lawrence, Stephen Harvey and wife Joanne, Kelly McCarthy, Timothy and Michael O'Connell, Kelly Gagliardi, his godson Norman E. Harvey and late James Curtin II. Great uncle of Samantha, Grace, and Natalie Curtin, Tyler, Nate, and Lexie Curtin, Sean Moller, Joseph Curran, Jennifer Hall, Douglas Harvey and wife Jennifer, Calista Harvey, Michael Harvey, Griffin, Liam, and Elizabeth Harvey and the late Joshua Moller.
Bud was born and raised in North Quincy. He was a veteran of the US Army for seven years. Bud worked for Boston Gear, HP Hood and Sons Dairy, and finally for 26 years with the MBTA before retiring. After retiring, Bud became and avid model train enthusiast, attending many train shows. His last adventure was as a driver for folks to and from the airport.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 9-9:45 am in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington Street, Norwell, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment to follow with military honors in Halifax Central Cemetery, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA. 02452.
