Charles J. Farinick, age 62, of Norwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family with the Grateful Dead playing on December 21, 2017. Loving father of Jamie Amidon and her husband Brett of Plainville, Andrew Farinick and fiancé Amelia of Weymouth, Steve Farinick and wife Katie of Norwell, Douglas Farinick and wife Paige of Kingston, Laura Farinick and fiancé Michael Stewart of Watertown, and Robyn Farinick of Norwell. Loving Papa to Reed, Gabriella, Charles, Rowan, Jack, and Thomas. Son of John C. Farinick of NJ and the late Barbara (Kelyman) Farinick. Brother of Bruce, Mary, Kathy, Christine, and David.

Charlie was a graduate of Northeastern Univ. and worked as an accountant for many years. He was a volunteer for the Norwell Boosters, Norwell Field Committee and a former president of Norwell Youth Football.  He was a great artist who loved the Grateful Dead, the beach, watching the Pats,  and spending time with his children and grandchildren.    "Nothin'  left to do but smile, smile, smile"

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on January 6th from 11-3 at The Tinker's Son in Norwell.
