Christopher Cowan Obituary

Christopher Starke Cowan of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Cohasset, MA passed away suddenly on February 13, 2018.  He was 57 years old. Beloved husband of Elvira R. Cowan and son of Mary and Thomas Cowan, and brother to Thomas Cowan (Carmel) and Kate McCormick (Dan).  Incredible uncle to Cara Bennett (Tim), Thomas IV, Connor, Julia, Luke Cowan and Cowan, Zachary and Maggie McCormick.  Wonderful stepfather to Brannon Moore-Goldsmith (David) and George Moore.  A proud graduate of Cohasset High School (Class 1978) and Boston College (1982) with a B.S. in Management. Chris was a dedicated Regional Sales Representative for PPC Industries, a producer of flexible packaging products for food and industrial applications. He had many passions including cooking, golf, music, and windsurfing.  Chris treasured and enjoyed his family and many friends with whom he spent much quality time.  A gentleman, he is remembered for his kindness, caring smile, and fun-loving personality. Pay your respects from 9:30am to 10:45am on Saturday, February 24th, at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home,160 South Main St., Cohasset, MA followed by his funeral Mass at 11:00 am, St. Anthony Catholic Church, 10 Summer St, Cohasset, MA.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund or American Heart Association.
