Daniel E. “Danny” Maynard of Carver, Mass., formerly of Cohasset, Mass., passed away on December 9, 2021, with his parents by his side after a yearlong battle with Colon Cancer. Danny was born in S. Weymouth on August 23, 1987 and grew up in Cohasset where he graduated from high school in 2006. He was employed by The Launch in Hingham as an Assistant Job Coach. He enjoyed being outdoors searching for signs of bigfoot or panning for gold. He was his mother’s travel buddy to places like California, Florida, and Washington DC. He loved the Boston Red Sox and was so excited when they won the World Series in 2004. He and his grandmother went to see the trophy when it came to Cohasset. Danny loved children and dogs. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humor. Cooking was always his favorite pastime. He is survived by his parents, Steven L. and Kimberly R. (Salvador) Maynard; his brother, Steven L. Maynard Jr; his sister, Amanda R Maynard and her husband Douglas Gracie and his niece, Madeline R. Maynard-Gracie, who he adored. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Isabel Salvador Neal. He was the grandson of the late Barron C. Salvador, Hermon J., and Barbara L. (Stevenson) Maynard. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. at McNamara- Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St., Cohasset, Mass. 02025. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, 1 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 43 Highland Ave., Cohasset, Mass. 02025. Visiting and light refreshments will follow the service in Bates Hall below the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
