Eleuteri of Hull, Alyssa M., Samantha J. and Noelle A. Barry of Taunton and great-grandfather of Cecilia, Cole and Coughlin Barry of Ware, MA.  Dave is survived by his brother John J. Barry, his wife Grace and his brother Nelson G. Barry, all of Weymouth, his sister, Marianne Parker of Attleboro as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was the former spouse of the late Marilyn Barry

Dave was a life-long Hull resident and he was a son of the late John J and Mary (Ambrose) Barry.  Many will remember "Barry's Store", a fixture for years in the Gunrock section, which hosted yearly block parties and was the local gathering place featuring  ice cream, treats, a jukebox and pinball machine, and which also served as an auxiliary  post office.  Dave was the former owner/operator  of the South Shore Bus Company.  In 2011, he retired from the  Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Auditor's Office. Dave was an avid gardener, a self-taught mechanic, IT technician,  and all-around Mister Fix-It.  He loved boats and music, especially country music and Irish folk songs.  But, most of all he loved his home in Hull.  Dave was a dedicated life-long friend to the late Harold Roche and the late Nicholas Pitaro.  Dave considered himself to be an adoptive father figure to 3 of his best friends: Sam Germaine, Russell Mason and Doug Gorham, as well as to his brothers-in-law, Vincent Pitaro and the late Anthony Pitaro.
