Doris Goyette Obituary

Doris G. (Hall) Goyette, 82, of Scituate, formerly of Boston and Cohasset passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 after a brief illness.

Wife of the late Robert A. Goyette.  She is survived by her 2 daughters Deborah Fernandes of East Sandwich and Jacqueline Vitello and her husband Pete of Cohasset, her 3 sons Robert Goyette of Weymouth, Thomas Goyette and his wife Jane of Sturbridge and Timothy Goyette and his wife Nancy of Scituate.  Her 8 grandchildren Brian Fernandes, Connor and Jillian Goyette, Amanda and Peter Vitello, Brooke, Courtney and Cameron Goyette.  Sister to Jeane Bortolotti and Richard Hall. Doris was pre-deceased by 6 other siblings.

Doris was a long time parishioner of Saint Anthony Parish in Cohasset.  She was an active member of the community, teaching CCD, Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader and volunteered at the American Cancer Society “Relay For Life”.  As a young mother Doris enjoyed her time bowling in the Cohasset Community Center Bowling League. Doris was a devoted and caring Nurses Aide at the Ripley Road Nursing Home in Cohasset.  Doris furthered her medical studies at Westbrook College. Bob and Doris loved spending time on Cape Cod.

The funeral service and burial were private.  Arrangements made by the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Cohasset.
