Doris M. Kerans (Rizzi)

Doris M. Kerans (Rizzi) age 92, of Scituate, passed away November 13, 2023. Doris was the beloved wife of 47 years to Paul Kerans (deceased). Loving mother to Alan Kerans of Alexandria VA, Robert Kerans of Scituate, and Stacey Kerans of Alexandria VA. Doting grandmother to three grandchildren, Robert Kerans Jr. (Shelby) of Venice FL, Toni Kerans of Easthampton MA, and Ally Kerans of Los Angeles CA. Adoring great grandmother to Karsyn, Kennedy, and Benjamin Kerans of Venice FL and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Quincy MA, Doris graduated from Quincy High School class of 1948 and was employed as a secretary for several local companies before becoming a homemaker. Doris was a longtime resident of Scituate and enjoyed spending time with neighbors, friends and family, traveling with her husband Paul, and was a passionate fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Doris's life from 10:30-12:30 pm on Friday, November 17th, with a service at 12:30 at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, Cohasset MA. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Scituate MA and light luncheon at Scituate Harbor Community Building, Scituate.
