Dr. James A. Seddon IV of Hingham, MA. Born October 6, 1932 in St. Louis, MO. Died September 15, 2021 of natural causes. He attended Taft '50, Harvard College '54, UC Berkley, Washington University School of Medicine MD 1967. Proudly served in the US Army. Practiced Psychiatry in the Boston area. Jim was an enthusiastic nature lover whether at the beach, on the slopes, hiking or sailing, just as long as he had a hat and shades. He coached his children in multiple languages and many athletic pursuits, sportsmanship, and the love of family all with his signature dry wit.
Jim leaves his beloved wife Priscilla of Hingham MA, daughters Amy and her husband J.P. Leger of Cohasset MA, Sarah and her husband John Jenner of London England, Carroll and her husband Kenneth Bourden of Norwood MA, Alice Seddon of Bloomington IN, Grand-daughters Christiane, Alexandra, and Brittany Leger. Jim will be missed by many close family and friends worldwide.
He will rest in the Hingham Cemetery following a private burial service. Donations in his memory can be made to further cures in Friedreich's Ataxia, Cancer and Alzheimer's disease, and the support of Indigenous peoples in need.
