Edward F Walsh, Jr.

Edward F Walsh Jr. of Norwell was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather,
Brother-in-law and friend to all. He died June 7, 2022. He was the beloved husband to the love of his life Betsy (Campbell) Walsh. He was the devoted Father of Edward F Walsh III and his wife Laurie France of Marshfield and his daughter Kelly Walsh and her love Bob Parfumorse of Hanover and his Grandson S. Colby Young III of South Carolina and his granddaughter Ashlynn Young of Florida and his six great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents the late Edward Sr and Vivian (Betty) Walsh and his brother James Walsh of Florida. Also survived by his brother Gary and niece Ria of New York and his sister-in-law Mary and her sons James and Joseph and his wife Heather of Florida. Ed was also survived by his Aunt Mary of Salem, NH and his sister-in-law Bonnie Campbell. Ed was also survived by his beloved Siberian Husky Bella and the late Sheba (also a Siberian). He was a graduate of Norwell High School class of 1957.  He was a licensed electrician, graduate of Sylvania Tech and Franklin Institute. He was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Assistant Scout Master, Norwell Youth Hockey Coach, member of the Jaycees of Norwell.  He loved boating, gardening, cooking (He was a great cook) and friends of a lifetime and Friday nights with his friends.  We would always quiz, who was here tonight, Ed???
He and Betsy travelled all over and his favorite trips were to Pearl Harbor and the Beaches of Normandy because he was a huge fan of Veterans everywhere.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, June 14th from 4-7PM at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home 30 Central Street, Norwell, MA. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the Washington Street Cemetery-Norwell,  MA.
