Elinor M. (Keegan) Coughlin

Elinor Keegan Coughlin pPassed away peacefully on May 26. Born on Cushing Road in Cohasset to Mamie and Ralph Keegan. 
She married her high school sweetheart, the late Harold Coughlin. They were happily married for 68 years. 
She enjoyed going to Boston every day working with “Ed” at his graphic design business. 
She was a Doric Dame at the State House for many years and enjoyed giving tours there. She loved history genealogy and was a member of the Mayflower Society. She spent years gathering documents for the family genealogy. She liked to go antiquing and off for day trips with Ed to the Cape or Maine. 
She is survived by her daughter Donna of Cohasset, her son Scott and his wife Eleanor of Fryeburg, ME, her granddaughter Kelsey of Driggs, ID and grandson Prescot of Lewiston, ME. Nieces Bonnie Winterton of Utah and Nancy Jenkins of California. She was pre-deceased by her brother Ralph Keegan. 
A private graveside service was held at Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Cohasset Historical Society (cohassethistoricalsociety.org)
