Jeffrey D. Shea, age 46, of Marshfield, formerly of Scituate, passed away on June 17, 2023. Jeff was the adoring father of Max and Rory Shea of Marshfield and life partner of Danielle (Anderson) Heggie. He was the devoted son of Kevin R. Shea and life partner Ellen R. DeLuca of Scituate and Pegeen A. (Ford) Cox and husband Jeffrey R. Cox of Scituate. Brother of Madelin C. Cox of Scituate and Kevin Shea of Los Angeles, CA. Grandson of Kathryn Ford of Scituate and the late Donald W. Ford, and Maureen Shea of West Barnstable and the late Robert Shea. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his friends, Darian and Jacob Heggie.

Jeffrey loved the sea and grew up in Sand Hills area of Scituate. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He worked for over 20 years at Air Gas- Hingham. Jeff was completely devoted to Rory and Max.

Visiting hours will be held on June 24, 2023 from 10 am – 12 noon in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025. Private burial at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Jeff may be made to Children's Hospital, Boston.
