In loving memory: John David Quinlan, 54 years young, of Hanover, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2021.
John was always adamant with his children on the importance of their education. John attended Sacred Heart and BC High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Science from Eastern Nazarene College in August of 2002, then his Master’s of Business from the University of Phoenix in 2004.
John will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father to his children. He loved working in the yard, being out on the boat, and spending time with family and friends in the neighborhood and community. John volunteered with the Boy Scouts and Hanover Youth Football. John especially loved attending his children’s sporting events, vacations and holidays with family.
John is the loving son of Mary T. (Clynes) Quinlan of Hanover, formerly of Brighton. He is the beloved husband of Jeanne (Haskins) Quinlan who he married in 1995 and is blessed with three amazing children, Brittany and husband Tyler Gates, Madison and husband David Gibson, and David Quinlan, as well as grandchildren Kasey and Tessa, all of Hanover.
John is survived by his brother Thomas Patrick Quinlan, his sister Carol McGee and her husband Dave, and their family Sarah and husband Dave Dickerson, their children Nolan and Lola, of Plainfield, NJ, Nathan McGee and wife Kathryn, their daughter Maya of S. Easton, MA, Seth McGee of San Diego, CA., and Hannah McGee of Brighton.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA. 02339.
