Marie A Tedeschi

Marie A. (Monahan) Tedeschi 86, of Norwell, died peacefully in her home “Riverlea” on April 4, 2022. Born in Newton she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Monahan and was the devoted wife of the late Dominic R. Tedeschi. She was the loving mother of Joan Ransom and her husband John of Duxbury, Richard Tedeschi and his wife Patricia of Marshfield, Paul Tedeschi and his wife Sandra of Norwell, Peter Tedeschi and his wife Katherine of Marshfield and Kara Tedeschi-Schoenberger and her husband Steve Schoenberger of Hanover. She was the loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Marie is also survived by her brother Charles Monahan Jr. of Weymouth and was predeceased by her grandson Kenneth Ransom. Marie was a lover of animals and spent most of her life riding her horses whenever possible until she was physically unable to do so. She spent many of her childhood summers in Green Harbor and moved to Norwell after marrying Dominic in 1959. Visiting hours will be held at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Norwell on Tuesday, April 12th from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 13th at 11:00AM at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church in Hanover. Interment in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
