Mildred Laura Naun

Mildred Laura Naun passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2018 at the age of 102.

Millie was born at home on Mordecai Lincoln Road in Scituate on June 26, 1916.  She was a resident of Scituate for more than 75 years, later living in Cohasset, then Hingham.  She never drove a car, but biked or walked everywhere she went.

Millie worked for many years at Logan airport.  Upon retiring she began to dog-sit.  She loved each dog as if it were her own.  Millie loved adventure.  She sky-dived, climbed rock walls and rode horses well into her 90s.  Her favorite adventure was to go on cruises each winter, which she did until 100 years of age.  She loved dancing and “dressing up”.  She had a great hat collection and wore them constantly.  Millie was especially proud of graduating from the Hingham Senior Citizens Police Academy.  She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
