Mrs. Patricia B. Jones died on 11/6/21. She was the wife of minister and college professor Donald E. Jones who preceded her in death in 2006. Pat and Don were married on 6/21/52 in White Plains NY. They honeymooned In Cotuit, Ma and this was where their lifelong relationship began. In the early 1960’s Pat and Don purchased their first cottage and in the 1970’s built a house they enjoyed for many summers and finally bought a home in which they retired from in 1999 all in their beloved Cotuit. Patricia started her career as a second grade school teacher in Marlborough, Ma during the 1950’s and then taught nursery school In Wellesley, Ma. Pat then spent many happy years teaching at Dean Junior College Children’s Center until 1990.
Pat loved her family, neighbors and friends. She enjoyed traveling, baking homemade breads and sweets, reading, interacting with babies and children of all ages, gardening, working on puzzles and spending time with her Mahjong Group. Patricia enjoyed many years as an active participant at St Luke’s Episcopal church in Scituate Ma where she often chose to be the Worship Greater and developed some wonderful friendships.
Patricia leaves behind her son Timothy of Boston, Ma, her daughter Pamela and husband Peter Healy of Norwell, Ma, and her son Christopher and wife Lisa of Natick, Ma. Grand children: Benjamin and wife Jennifer Of Washington, DC, Timothy and wife Bella Of Costa Mesa Ca, and Georgia and fiancé AJ Roache Of Whitman, Ma. Patricia also leaves her beloved great granddaughter Birdie of Costa Mesa Ca.
Memorial Service to be scheduled at a later date, Private burial at Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit,Ma.
