Patrick Joseph Bowes Jr. (46), of Hull Ma. passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 23rd, 2022 as a result of a heart attack. Beloved son of the late Patrick (SFD) and Connie (Ward) Bowes, Patrick was raised in Scituate and graduated from Scituate High in 1995. While at Scituate High School, Patrick played Varsity Hockey, Varsity Baseball and Varsity Golf.
Patrick graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Vermont and was on the baseball, golf and ski teams. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science and a Business degree from St. Joseph’s. Patrick was a talented carpenter and owned his own carpentry business. For years Patrick lobstered with his Dad on his Dad’s boat The Katie - Pat. He also fished for Tom Bell on the Michael Brandon and with Phil Lynch on the Mary Elizabeth and Paula Lynn. Most recently Patrick had bought his own boat and was lobstering out of Scituate Harbor.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Jennifer (Nonenmacher) Bowes and their five-year-old son, Patrick, who idolized his dad.
Patrick was the only sibling and younger brother of Katie (Bowes) Prendergast and her husband Tom. He was the supportive and entertaining uncle to Tommy, Kevin and Jack Prendergast all of Marshfield.
Patrick was the son-in-law of Paul and Dale Nonenmacher and brother-in-law to Paul Nonenmacher.
Patrick leaves behind his faithful dog David. Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, cousin and cherished friends. As one family member said, “There is a huge hole in our family now”. Patrick will be greatly missed by the people who loved him…gone too soon, 143.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Patrick Joseph Bowes Jr . Wake on Tuesday December 6th from 4-7 pm at McNamara Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street Cohasset. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday December 7th at 11am, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 2 Summer Street, Cohasset Ma.
