During his college years, Pete served as equipment manager for the P.C. Friars and the 1980 Olympic Basketball team, both under Coach David Gavitt. In his professional life, Pete was a Vice President of the Information Technology Division of State Street Bank. After a successful career of over 30 years he retired in 2016. He enjoyed scuba diving, reading, travel and gardening with his wife Joan, along with the companionship of their faithful dog Bella who was a great comfort in Pete’s final days.
Most importantly, Pete lived his life with honesty, integrity, and a tender and fun-loving heart. He was a loyal and affectionate husband, a brother you could always depend on, and a most trusted friend. His circle of loved ones will always remember his words of encouragement and his reassuring pat on the back.
