Robert Irving Blake

Robert Irving Blake, of Norwell, passed away on June 21, 2021 at age 86. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Florine “Beth” and his devoted sons, Robert I. Blake, Jr and his wife Jessica Bahros and their children, Anya Bahros (her husband Jorge Quinteros) and Dagim Bahros, C. Adam Blake and his wife Athanasia and their son, Christopher. He is survived by his sister Miriam C. Roeder of Pembroke and predeceased by his sisters Lora Blake Harding and Barbara Blake Johnson.

Bob was born in Braintree, MA in 1934 to Charles Albert and Priscilla (Vadeboncoeur) Blake. He graduated from Braintree High School and Harvard University where he played football and ran track while earning his degree. Owner of The Blake Press, Inc. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Bob. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing the piano. He was an avid golfer and long time member of the Marshfield Country Club.

Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Bob may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA. 02061.
