Rosalie (Conte) Kowalski of Cohasset passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 94.

Rosalie was born in Scituate, Massachusetts on August 12, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Carlo Conte and Philomena (Sciallo) Conte and the sister of the late Barbara E. Conte, Vito Conte, Carmelo Conte and Gerard A. Conte, all of Cohasset. She leaves behind her niece, Linda Conte Riccio and her husband Alphonse Riccio and her nephew, John Conte and his wife Joan Conte.

Rosalie was the first woman dispatcher for the Town of Cohasset. Rosalie completed many Certificates of Training given by the Department of the Air Force and worked as a secretary for the United States Civil Service Commission. While she was on assignment in Japan, she married Louis Kowalski in 1965. After her time overseas, she and Louis lived in California for many years. In her later years after Louis passed away, Rosalie returned to Cohasset to be near family and lived in the area for the rest of her life.
