Scott R. Callahan

Scott Roger Callahan, age 57 of Norwell, passed away on June 28, 2021.  Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 14, 1964, Scott was raised in Westport, Connecticut.   Scott was the loving father of Charlie, Will and Jack. He was the youngest son of Dr. Roger J. Callahan and Barbara (Shannon) Vilardi. He was the loving younger brother of Patti Phillips (and Mark), Amy Callahan, and Martha DeMarco (and Jeff).  

Scott is survived by nieces and nephews:  Ryan Tannascoli, Jennifer Bargenquast, Caitlin Warner, and Haley and Tessa DeMarco.  He was close with his aunts and uncles:  Beverly and Ed McIntyre, Chuck and Pam Shannon, Dan Shannon, and Nancy and Jeff Oakes. 

Scott received a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. He was Sr. Vice President of Texas Capital Bank, and had an extensive career in finance.  Scott loved skiing and mountain biking with his boys and playing with his dog, Max. 

Private Services will be held at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in Norwell.
