Obituary

William Frederick Solfisburg, 67, of Norwell, Massachusetts passed away on April 22nd at his home. He was born November 6th, 1955 in Aurora, Illinois to the late Roy and Edith Solfisburg. He was a man of wit and wisdom, a successful innovator in insurance and investments, and, most importantly, he was an exceptionally loving husband, father and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to anyone lucky enough to spend time with him. He was gregarious and gentle. Bill made extraordinary efforts to always be there for his wife, children, grandchildren, dogs Gracie and Grouper, and granddogs Pound and Spoon. William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy Solfisburg; a son, Eric (Christina) Solfisburg of Scituate, Massachusetts; a daughter, Quinn (Elliot) Solfisburg of Boston, Massachusetts as well as three granddaughters, Katherine and Elizabeth Solfisburg of Scituate and Cameron Schrock of Boston. William is also survived by his siblings Roy Solfisburg III and Sally S. Fine. He was preceded in death by his sisters Susan Davis and Sandy Whitelaw.

Funeral Service will be private. In remembrance of William, donations to the Children's Trust of Massachusetts (www.childrenstrustma.org) where he volunteered for over 18 years working to strengthen families would be gratefully received.
