Michael Hayes Sullivan of Cohasset, MA passed away unexpectedly on July 19th after a long illness. Beloved husband of Mary S. Sullivan of Cohasset. Devoted father of Corey Sullivan Martin and her husband Jari Martin of Quincy, Emilie H. Sullivan of Boston, Daniel S. Sullivan of Minneapolis, MN and Olivia S. Sullivan of Boston. Adored grandfather of Madeleine H. Martin. Loving son of David and Barbara Sullivan of Wellesley. Brother of Ellen McGann and her husband Bill McGann of Atlanta, GA, Maura Sullivan of Cape Elizabeth, ME and the late Gregory Sullivan. Son in law of Dorothy Shoffner of Essex, CT and loving uncle to his nephew and nieces. Michael was a loving family man with a passion for golf, real estate and boating. He was a dedicated citizen of Cohasset having served on the Board of Health for three years and the Board of Selectman for 12 years. He was the President of Sullivan Associates for 22 years and worked for BNYMellon for 5 years. Visiting hours will be from 3-7 PM on Thursday, July 23rd at McNamara Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main Street, (across from St. Anthony Church on Summer St.) Cohasset.  The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 24th at 10 AM in Saint Anthony Church, Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Michael’s name to the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (hopefordepression.org) Hope for Depression Research Foundation
