Mr St John was my little league baseball coach. He was a wonderful man that made sure that everybody played and made each kid feel special, He even let me pitch in a game. I hit the first batter I faced and he had to take me out for the safety of the other kids. He gave me a chance and when it didn't go well he was nice about it and told me to concentrate on my hitting. I am sorry to hear about his passing but wanted to let you know he had an impact on me. Now that I have my own kid and help coach some of his teams I remember how Mr. St, John made it fun and got more out of kids by being positive.
