Sarah M (Carroll) Clark

Sarah M. (Carroll) Clark, age 91, formerly of Norwell and Hanover, died Saturday the 19th of August at the Hannah B. Shaw Home in Middleboro. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Sarah was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Lewis W. Clark and her daughter, Carol Ann (Clark) Garneau. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Marion, Ruth, and Irene and her brother, Robert Carroll. Sarah is survived by five children, Lewis W. “Bill” Clark, Jr. and wife Paula of Middleboro, Marion McCarthy and husband John of Rockland, Kathleen Merrifield and husband David of Norwell, Susan Ryan and husband Steve of Merrimack, NH, Robert Clark and wife Cheryl of Plympton, and a son in law Robert Garneau of NH. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Hannah B. Shaw Home and Staff who gave Sarah such wonderful care the past three years.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Sarah during visiting hours on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 9 am in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St., Norwell. Interment Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Sarah may be made to the Hannah B. Shaw Home, Memory Care Unit, 299 Wareham St., Middleboro, MA. 02346.
