Dearest Janice, Paul, Beth and Margie,
The McCabe family has often thought of the MacDougall family and deeply regret our families have lost touch through the years. I recall so fondly our times together when our families would meet in Milton with your Kelliher grandparents
Thinking today of "Cousin Margie" I thought to try again to locate you all through the internet. In that search, I was deeply saddened to come across David's obituary.
My sisters Justine McCabe and Maryann McCabe and our 98-year-mother Connie join me in extending our deepest sympathies to your family over the loss of your dear brother David and in praying for his eternal rest. (Our dad Warren died at 89 in May 2007 and brother Richard passed away at 58 15 years ago this Saturday.) We remember fondly your dear father and also hold him closely in our thoughts and prayers.

I love you David and was honored to be with you until your last moments. My heart is broken and we can only take comfort knowing the MacDougalls have welcomed you home to the highest of the heavenly Highlands. What you did with your life was God's Work. Fly high my brother and rest in peace.

Molly, Jesse, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. We have great memories of all of you from The Ridge Club golf days. We really enjoyed playing golf with your dad and listening to his great stories. He went too soon. RIP Dave, yours was a life well lived.

Jesse, Molly and all those that were so important to him, please accept mine and Rick's heartfelt condolences. Dave was a force to be reckoned with. His energy, his spirit, his mind, his mentoring skills, his generosity, his thoughtfulness, his sense of humor and most importantly his love will be missed terribly. I can honestly say I've never met anyone else like him. I marveled at his capacity to get things done as he took on the world with gusto. I'm honored to call him my friend and I will always appreciate the impact he has bestowed upon on my life. Thank you Dave, you'll be missed more than you could have ever imagined!
