I was lucky enough to have 'Aunt Dorothy' (and 'Uncle Ed', Colleen, Jennifer and David) play a huge and important part in my childhood. More than 50 years and many miles later, I am so sad to be writing to say thank-you so late but want you all to know that my memories of your mom and wife are as precious and as clear as if they happened yesterday. I am so sorry to learn of your dear mother's death. I'm sure I met your mom at various St. Paul School functions over the years. Unfortunately, I am laying low at St. Peter's Rectory with my annual post Christmas cold or would have tried to get up to the wake today. God has already given your mother a great welcome into the new life of heaven. May she rejoice with the angels and saints and continue hrt prayer for you and your family.
