Condolences to the Cotter family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to Barbara, all of our Cotter cousins, and Barbara’s children. Uncle Joe will be missed! A life well-lived. What a lot of good he did in the world.

It was nice to see you all on Wednesday night. Take good care, and cherish the memories.

Barbara and Bob, We were very sorry to learn of Joe's passing. We want to extend our sincerest sympathies to you and the rather large Cotter family. The Jimmy Fund Golf Program sends its deepest sympathies to your family. Joe was an extraordinary supporter of our program from its beginnings 34 years ago and we owe a lot of our success to his generosity and philanthropic vision. Joe’s endless support, encouragement, guidance and friendship to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund will not be forgotten. His kindness has brought so much hope to our patients and their families over the years and we appreciate it so much. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

So very sad to hear of my Uncle Joe's passing. To all my Cotter cousins: Please accept my heartfelt condolences for losing your Dad, as I lost mine last fall. He was my favorite uncle. Always made me laugh. Always had great stories. Like my dad, he was a good man who did a lot of good things. I know he and my Mom shared a special bond. I am as proud of being a Cotter as I am a Poole. Your Dad is a major reason why. Barbara please also accept my condolences for losing your husband. I am glad that he was surrounded by his loving family as he passed on to a higher plane in peace.
