I have been out of town and just learned of Peggy's passing. She has always held a very special place in my heart--her inspiration and guidance during our years of justice work. My condolences to you all. The world is a little less bright now that Peggy's shining light has been extinguished but her legacy lives on.

I'm so very sorry that Peggy's beautiful face will not be at our summer concerts this year! She was such a bright light, gentle spirit and loving person. Our short chats always left me energized and joyful, and I will greatly miss her. I imagine she will be with us in spirit as it was her favorite place to be on Saturday evenings in July. What a lovely woman.
