Dear Sandy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of Wayne's family as you continue to go through this difficult time. Wayne had an extraordinary life, but never forgot his roots in Scituate and Cohasset. We remember him most when you had SHS'58 get-togethers at his beloved Holly Crest farm. The stories of his travels and hunting adventures were always of great interest to those gathered there. Then only recently we heard how, when he was on USCG duty off of Chatham, he fired the line across the Mercer's bow to help save the crew. When Wayne found out that Sharon worked at Antenna Systems in 1962, that triggered many memories of his 40 years of service there. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on for those of us who knew him and his family who loved him.
We will be donating to the MGH Alzheimer's Research Center in hopes that advances or a cure can be found for this terrible disease that has had such a devastating effect on your family and ours.
Don & Sharon, SHS Forever

When I was a young boy my parents were very close to Wayne and his family.
I remember camping at Chittenden Dam with Wayne and his family, Bob & Ellen MacAllister, Jim & Jean Peckham and my parents . Hiking into a pond overlooking the lake to catch trout and really big bonfires at the campsite wonderful memories from the lake.
I remember hunting with Wayne at my fathers camp in Sutton, I followed Wayne as he tracked a monster buck we followed that trail ( he lead ) for hours. We never saw the buck but I still have the memory.
I remember fishing for stripers out of Wayne's boat and clamming in the North River
I remember …
Thank you for the memories.

Wayne was a constant in my memories of growing up- helping my dad build a boat- a novi. Also remember his love for hassling cats.
