Having attended Norwell High School, Brendan is a graduate of St. Sebastian's Country Day School in Needham, Class of 2000. He is a graduate of Boston College, Class of 2004 and New England Institute of Anatomy at Mount Ida College, Class of 2007.
A fourth generation funeral director, Brendan takes deep pride in working and serving the families of the area; something he has been doing since the age of 16.
Brendan loves the South Shore for its history and for its coastline. An avid surfer and paddleboarder, you can also find him working on cars and at cruise nights, as well as at the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club. When not near the water, he can often be found snowboarding and adventuring in the mountains, but always with his children.
Brendan and his wife, Melissa (Medici-King) live in Norwell, where they raise their six children, Colin, Joseph, Brendan Jr., Molly, Maggie and Mia.
Megan G. Mooney, a licensed funeral director with more than 30 years experience, joined McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home in 2022. She serves each family with extensive knowledge and compassion. Her thoughtful attention to detail and desire to help is a much appreciated service.
A resident of Scituate with her husband, Bill, Megan looks forward to meeting more families of her town, as well as Norwell, Cohasset, Marshfield and surrounding towns.
