Virginia Anne Peaslee

Virginia Anne "Ginny" Peaslee, Age 83, of Hingham and Hull, formerly of Pinebluff, NC, passed peacefully on December 8, 2017. She was born on December 19, 1934 in Dorchester to the late Brendan Sullivan and Francis (Sherin) Sullivan. She was the wife of the late David Peaslee and the loving mother of six children: John Tedeschi and his wife Susan of Scituate, Sherin Tedeschi of Boulder, CO, Alise Burbridge and her husband, Richard of Hingham, Andrea Shill and her husband David of Palmdale, CA and the late Edward Tedeschi III and David Tedeschi. She was the loving "Noni" to Jeremy, Elizabeth, and Christopher Tedeschi, Jessica and Nicole Burbridge, Meghan, Lauren and Adam Shill, Michelle and Brendan Tedeschi and "Great Noni" to Felicity and Jace Tedeschi. She is also survived by her loving sister, Brenda Merlino and her husband Larry of Greenville, ME. She also left many wonderful cousins and friends. Ginny was a psychiatric nurse specializing in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. We cannot count the number of lives she touched by helping them with their own journeys through recovery. She retired from a long career at Moore memorial Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10am in St. Anthony's Parish, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset. Visiting hours prior to the Mass from 9-10 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony’s Church), Cohasset.
